Photo #2: I didn't know you could run out of those...

John and I try to be good, responsible human beings and make it to the grocery store once a week. For those of you who know me at all, you will remember that I absolutely loathe the grocery store, its crowds, people who are oblivious that anybody else is in the store besides them and their cart full of stuff, screaming children, etc. On one of our weekly trips we found a sign that made us chuckle. Quite a bit, actually. It was right before fall semester started last year and Provo was full of BYU students again back from their summer break. This is what we encountered when we went to get bananas:

I was not aware that it is possible to run out of bananas, but alas, it is. My favorite part, and why I laughed hysterically was the frowney face. wow. Oh Provo..........

  2. This reminds me of the one time we went to Denny's in Provo. (First, you might not have actually been there, but I think you were, and second, why we went to Denny's, I don't know)... But there was this sign on the door that said something like, "After 5:00 we will only be serving dessert. Sorry for the unconvinced." I still laugh about that today. So I know how you feel about the banana sign. :)

    See you on Tuesday!

  3. Honestly, we should be grateful that whenever we need nanas they are there - just like a gift.... You both are so funny :)

  4. It's kind of a mad frowny face... reminds me of that song "yes we have no banana's" that I learned in a stake roadshow one time.

Crap, now I wish I had a banana.
