Picture update

Dean has been so happy lately, even though he's been sick for nearly 3 weeks. Don't worry, we went to the doctor a week and a half ago. It's just the nastiest cold ever. I'm so glad he's older now or I'd be really worried. He's still sleeping very well, but likes to wake up around 5:30 lately. I feel like I'm going to early morning seminary all over again. Despite the sickness, he's been all smiles mostly.

As Mother's Day fast approaches, I feel so blessed to have this sweet little angel baby in my life. It has been nothing short of the biggest struggle of our lives, but John and I have loved getting to know Dean. I've learned when he wants to snuggle (which is very rare) and when he wants to play. I've learned how to comfort him in times of discomfort. I've learned when he's grumpy and just needs a few minutes to cry. I've learned what foods he can keep down and how much food is too much. Most importantly, I've learned how much I could love someone and truly want the best for the rest of his life. Thanks, Dean, for letting me be your Momma. And thanks, John, for being the best husband and father for Dean and I.
