Quilt #2

So now that I've been done with my quilt for about a month or so, I finally got around to taking pictures of it and posting them on the blog. This one was quite the feat. I'm about 95% happy with it, I just wish that I would have used some bright pink thread to do some of the quilting, that would have been much more "me". But as my mom tells me, this is one of those things to tuck away and remember for the next one. I do absolutely LOVE the back of it. But then again, bright colors in a funky pattern, what's not to love??

  1. Way to go Jen!! You almost makest me want to start quilting, even though I know I'll have absolutely no patience for it. That is an amazing second quilt - great work. :) And I think the fabric is very Jen too. Funky funky.

  3. Wow, I am impressed. Maybe you should start a quilt-making business. You could quit your job and just sell quilts. :)

P.S. I did get your birthday email, thanks! Sorry I never responded. I hope things are going well for you guys!

  5. Jen,

That looks awesome - and so you! I worry that the baby might not be able to fall asleep with that backing, but, hey! - they'll just have to get over it!

    Love ya! Dad
