Yes, I am a HUGE dork
So the other day I was looking at a friend's blog that referenced President Obama and his winning of the nobel peace prize (don't worry, not going to discuss that here). BUT... I went to the Nobel Prize site and saw a link to an educational game about blood typing. It looked strangely familiar and as I started playing it, I realized that my Human Biology teacher (who was also a huge dork) played that game with us in class. It was good, clean fun had by all. Then I realized they had a lot of educational games like train Pavlov's dog to drool on command as an unconditioned response, DNA double helix, even an economics game. Of all that I've played, the blood typing one is my favorite. To any of you who are not quite as science dorky as I am, rest assured that even John had fun as he tried to figure out if it was possible to injure anyone past repair. Here is the link: GAMES

This game is amazing. And yes, I am commenting on my wife's post. It was that cool!
ReplyDeleteYes, you are a huge dork. Not like I'm one to talk, though. :) Thanks for the fun link. It's made me realize how much I've forgotten. Thankfully I didn't kill any patients with the blood typing, but mostly because I cheated and gave them all O- to start out with. I'll have to check more games out later.
